The first time I participated in the 100 Days Project I used the opportunity to create a visual diary of my experiences as a new immigrant in Edinburgh. I showed my impressions and discoveries in the city and its culture, but also my reflections and personal development during that time.

 

This particular drawing was about the position you are in once abroad: no one knows you, you know no one. The culture is different; the settings are different. Who are you when no one is looking, when the cultural and social expectations are gone? It is a scary but liberating feeling.
