SCOTLAND'S FLOWERS

Ode to Scotland, its wild nature and magical atmosphere. Personal project.

I did some of research of the most typical flowers and plants in the country and added a witchy hand to show it to us. Initially the image had a quote accompanying it that said, “Scotland is wild nature and magic”, but I took it out so everyone could get their own interpretation of the image.​
I've always gravitated towards scottish nature and did some small sketches of famous plants and flowers during my participation on the 100 Days Project Scotland 2019 (below). Daffodils were a sign of the upcoming spring, or even some days of sun. Running on the canal or walking around any park of the city, their presence was indicative of good days to come. The scottish thistle is and always will be a sign of resistance, freedom and personality.
