During the pandemic I experienced a couple of difficulties on top of the global health crisis we all went through: one of them was a breakup after the first lockdown, and the subsequent loneliness that came after, during the next few lockdowns. I had to re-discover the joys of being by myself, and books were a lifeline for me during that time (as they have always been throughout my life).
Before I had my tablet, I bought a tracing table just to do re-do this drawing. The final version is still the one done by hand, pen and paper, only digitalised.
